Dates of Interest

April:

-New York Times feature on Melanie Roach. Print date set for sometime in early April.

-Melanie will be featured in a new book called, “Overcoming Obstacles”. Check your local bookstores.

-Media summit – April 14-15th, Chicago, IL. Melanie has been chosen as one of 105 athletes from all Olympic sports to share her story with all nationwide media in preparation for the Olympic Games.

May:

-Olympic Trials – May 16-17th in Atlanta, GA. The event will be held at Georgia Tech.

June:

-Keynote Address - Tuesday morning 7:30 AM, June 10 at the Emerald Downs in Auburn, WA.

-Melanie is one of three Olympic hopefuls that will be featured in the July/August edition of Muscle and Fitness HERS, magazine. Available on shelves in June.

July:

-Olympic Send Off and Rally - 6:00 to 8:30 PM, Roach Gymnastics, 1627 45th Street, Bldg. D-103, Sumner, WA. Call 253.826.5999 for directions. FREE FAMILY FUN!!!

August:

-Olympic Games – Beijing China. Opening ceremonies are on August 8th.
