My son Drew was diagnosed with autism at the age of two and a half. My husband, children and I have been on a steep learning curve ever since. I am committed to getting the treatments and therapies for my son and look forward to the day we find a cure for autism. Please take the time to learn how you can help in this worthwhile cause by clicking the icons below.

I am honored to be a member of “Athletes Against Autism”, an initiative aimed at raising the awareness about autism and funds for research into finding the causes, effective treatments and a cure for autism. It is currently estimated that 1 in 150 children in the U.S. will be identified with an Autism Spectrum Disorder by the time they are three years old, making autism one of the fastest growing childhood disorders.

This year I am serving as the honorary chair for two “Autism Walks” events in Tacoma and Seattle.
